3JT'S Visit the Zoo

We went to the ZOO today and could not pull ourselves away from the new Lion Exhibit! They are so beautiful and so up close. (a little too close for baby Mao's liking) Jillian put her Mao up against the glass and the male lion was watching her the whole time! Creepy.

We all had a good time, but it was very cold. We were all bundled up!

St John's Bridge

One of the iconic landmarks in Portland, Or. It was designed by the same person that did the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I've been on both and I think our's is better. I took this Saturday between rain storms.

Beauty all around

I took these silly pics of Jillian the other evening. She loved the scarf so much, I had to go buy myself another one! This pic reminds me of the National Geographic photo of the Muslim girl.

My Talented Husband

This morning I saw the opportunity to snap some great morning photos. Got John and headed outside. Jillian and Missy were more than happy to cooperate! 

Now if we could just photoshop a photo of the hubby in them!

B&W

I can't seem to shake the B&W film habit. Now digital cameras do everything for you and I keep using 25 year old equipment. It also helps to have a great subject.

New neighbors

Here's a picture of the family that has been staying in the tree in our back yard. Saturday night Mama Raccoon decided to bite the neighbors dog in the butt after he got a little to agressive towards her kids. hese were taken early evening on Sunday.

Night of the DEAD

As most of you know, John turned the BIG 40 on 10/28/09. I had been working on his Surprise Birthday Costume Party for about a year... 

I pulled it off! Dawn and Chris hosted the event at their house and it was lovely. Such Amazing people! 

John walked in and was shocked! I must say, 40 looks good on him!
