although i'm not a football fan, i disagree with your comments about colt mccoy. he didn't ask to be hit in the manner he was (it looked to me like he got hit with the alabama players helmit...direct aim). and in a tv "sound bite" today it appeared to me that he got chocked up when asked about not playing in the game. he WANTED to play. his last college game in an outstanding career...what a tough way to have to end it. i think coach brown made the right call about not playing him any longer given the circumstances. in no way did colt let his team down. and the team made a great effort without him. sure we all would have liked to have had the first string 100%, but fate doesn't always go the way we plan. dad/tx

Didn't help. McCoy decided on this night, his possible chance in the NFL was more important than this team, tonight! Disappointed tonight.
