On Saturday we all went hiking along the Salmon River trail. It was a bittersweet hike for JOhn and I because we used to take Missy dog out there. We stopped on our way in at her favorite spot in the river and took a family photo as a way of celebrating her. Jillian enjoyed all the big trees and got to see some rather large banana slugs. We stopped later and had some snacks and she and I walked out onto the rocks for a better view. It was a beautiful day and was enjoyed by all!

How lucky we are to have such beautiful places to visit so close to our homes. Oregon is really a great place to see.
