Just your average Saturday.

Today in Portland, Oregon, it hit a whopping 95 degrees! Our first 90 degree day of the Summer. Jillian and I went Kindergarten supply shopping with Grandma and then came home to the kiddie pool, Daddy had filled. We laid out for a little while in our bikinis and dipped our toes in the water. John went for an open water swim to get ready for THE SWIM on Labor Day. He then had to go into work, bummer. WE all had a good time this afternoon and grilled up some fresh tuna caught by Grandpa. In the evening, Jillian decided to get into costume for the movie RIO. (hilarious) Tomorrow we are off to a park with a lake. ( and I broke my pinky toe on Friday. not worth the time to explain) Tomorrow is set for 88-90 degrees. Good to see you Summer, even if it is August 20th!!!!

95 sounds heavenly. We have had 22 consecutive days with 100 degrees or higher and no rain for months. We may have something to look forward to--Tuesday's high is supposed to be 97 before rising to over 100 again. I am not looking forward to next utility bill.

Very cute pictures, even 90 is way to hot for me. Hoping for little cooler this week.

Polka dot bikini?! I thought Jillian didn't like polka dots! Then again, a girl's entitled to change her mind... especially one who wears camouflage.
Go, Jillian!
