Mother's day was spent at the beach this year. The weather cooperated although it was a bit windy. John went surfing, Jillian was fashionable as usual and we were able to grill hotdogs at the beach. Dogs seemed to be the big attraction this year. The dog next to Julie is named Daisy and was a few cars down from us. It didn't stop her from coming to hang out with Julie several times. The other dog in the pictures was actually a small bear... but a friendly bear.

More dogs and dolls. Looks like beach day was beautiful, even without much surfing. A nice Mother's Day tradition, too.
