Tee-Pee Girl

This morning we went out to breakfast with friends and then we parted ways with Dada, who went to hit golf balls. Jillian and I met up with Grandma(real) and went to the Cemetary to take flowers to the family. Afterwards, we went to Cost Plus and were looking around and saw this Tee-Pee tent for a real good deal. Grandma bought it for Jillian, we came home and put it up and she spent a couple hours eating, singing, "resting", and hanging out with Mao in it for the afternoon! Such fun she and Owen will have this summer playing together!

Monkey Face

Today when I picked up Jillian, she showed me this picture she drew.
Teacher Christine likes to draw and she and Jillian sat down and Christine gave Jillian specific directions on how to draw a monkey. Jill did this all by herself! I am so impressed with my child tonight. She is so creative!

Like Mommy Like Daughter

Went out to dinner tonight and Jillian and I were dressed in our blue and whites. Had a great time with Chris, Dawn and Owen at Bamboo grill. (Hawaiian food)
The weather is getting nicer and I can't wait for all the fun!

Dance Fever

Jillian has the start of a sinus infection and I stayed home with her today b/c of fever possibility. Sure enough, 100.2 this morning. We did puzzles, watched Dumbo and the highlight was going to Target to pick up more hand soap. She is on Antibiotics and seems to be on the mend. Back to school tomorrow. This afternoon, I think she needed an energy release. She got out her dance mat and boogied for about 10 minutes. She is a crack-up.

Hoppy Easter

This Easter Jillian wanted to spend the night at Grandma's house with the family, (including dog) it would have been super if she wasn't getting a cold. A little before 5 a.m. she was calling for anyone to go into her room b/c she was coughing and had to pee. Then after I laid down with her and was settling in, the dog peed on her own bed/blanket and John had to take her outside. After Jillian crawled into our bed instead, I was sandwiched between her and John for the next few hours! Once we ALL woke later, Jillian was excited to share what the Easter bunny brought. She hunted for eggs several times in the house and played with her bunny ears when we got back to our house. As for me, I'm looking forward to my own bed and about 8 hours of peace and quiet. Happy Easter.
