Seriously Dada?

So the other night I was putting Jillian to bed and she wouldn't lay down. I decided to lay in her bed and get comfy with a book to tempt her into laying down as well. That's when she turned to me and said, "Seriously, Dada? This is my bed."

New Food Line

Today John and I went on a bike ride on the Tandem. We rode to the local sandwich shop and had a bite to eat with some of our neighbors that were there. We were laughing about husband/wife stuff and a comment was made about our neighbor eating 2 scoops of Double Bitch Ripple Ice Cream. We all laughed, then I came up with Old Man Bran. I knew John was going to say something so I told him I buy Nag Nougat Candy Bars! We all decided that we should market these new products to ALL MARRIED couples.  For those couples with kids, we recommend Cranky Crunch Cereal. If you have a lazy bones around the house, may I suggest Crack The Whip Corn Flakes?

For Jillian: On your 13th birthday!

There is no picture, just a few words every mom wants to hear, but few ever really do...
Today, this morning, driving Jillian to school, we had just started going over the Sellwood Bridge and were singing along to the Surf's Up soundtrack when Jillian stops and says," MAMA, YOU MY BESTFRIEND."
I asked her to say it again thinking I did not just hear that right and sure enough, "MAMA, YOU MY BESTFRIEND."
I GLIMPSED BACK OVER MY SHOULDER AND SMILED AND SAID, " I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"
In the back of my mind I was thinking, "How much is this gonna cost me?"

AGAIN, THAT AGAIN!!!

This is the second year that we have joined my mom for her company picnic at Oaks Park. There were a few rides Jillian picked as her favorites to do AGAIN and AGAIN. One being the carrousel, and the other the train that travels around the perimeter of the park. It was a warm day, she lasted about 3 hours. We all enjoyed ourselves and look forward to next year, AGAIN!

Tattoos are Addictive

So, I got this done a few weeks ago! I couldn't let John show me up once he got his bird for Jillian. I had to get one too, the color should be done within a week or so. Of course the butterfly will have blue and purple in it... I THINK I'm finished now. 

Scar not part of the deal, that was from a long time ago at the doctor before it was cool.  Yes, some people are into that, not ME.

He is being charged with 10 counts of Genocide. Please e mail this story to everyone you know to make them aware of what is happening. The more that know, the more we can try to change history and be a people who don't just sit idly by and let history repeat itself... I am wearing my END GENOCIDE shirt.  Even spreading the word to friends and family is doing something...

These pictures are from the last month. The tattoo pic is from a few weeks ago. Jillian grabbed a pen and decided to add some new ink to my leg. She worked so hard she stuck her tongue out.(just like daddy)  The ice cream pic is from a couple nights ago when it was so hot she would barely even finish her pasta. We walked to Dairy Queen and ordered a kids cone. It was so big she asked to have it in a cup and polished off most of it.(just like daddy)  The last pic is from Sunday. Owen came over for a play date and this is one of the cute shots of Jillian playing play doh at the table. Owen stayed for 2+ hours and the two of them managed to leave the house looking like a TORNADO hit it... Kids are the best!!
